The posted coordinates are phony! There is no geocache
there. You need to solve the mystery to obtain the true
coordinates.
This puzzle is about a group of people who have a peculiar common
bond. Each person in the group can be associated with a unique
number (digit), which will become very clear and logical to you
once you determine who they are and how the numbers are
associated.
In this puzzle, their real names are not used. We have made up an
alternate name for each. A few facts are provided for each person,
and it is up to you to determine their identities and how they are
associated to each other. Implied genders are accurate.
We promise that this puzzle will bring many of you a real "a-ha"
moment.
All facts are current as of the date this geocache is
published.
A. Dick has been married three times. He has a strong
interest in machines and science. He has been active in technology
and information technology industries. Among other things, has
produced and marketed keyboards and educational technologies for
children.
B. Harry is dead. He died from cancer. He has a daughter,
who was born in 1958. Harry was homosexual.
C. Jennifer is in the graphic design business. She recently
published a coffee table book. She has a son, who was born in 1996,
and who has been diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome.
D. Amy is married. She has a daughter, who was born in 1989.
Her mother contracted syphilis from her grandmother in utero.
E. Tom is married. He and his current wife have two sons,
born 1990 and 1993. He loves camping. He has sandy-colored curly
hair. He grew up Mormon. His father was a Vice Principal.
F. Nina has been married twice, and her current husband is a
business consultant. She was born in 1958. She is an artist,
working out of her home and specializing in oil on canvas. She have
served works out of her home.
G. Melanie was born the youngest of ten children. Her father
was a tobacco sharecropper. She was raised a Roman Catholic. Her
second husband died in 2002.
So there you go. When you figure out who these people are, it
should be pretty easy matter to determine what numbers they
represent.
