Geocache Description:

Coordinates are in the puzzle, you just have to figure out how to solve it.

Am I as confused about the different types of big cats as everyone else? I mean a lion is a lion , right? But then why are cougars also called mountain lions, panthers, pumas and mountain cats? Well it all has to do with the where the cats come from and that's why there are different names for what is essentially the same cat. That's why a headline saying Puma spotted in Dunn County Wisconsin" might be the same cat the shows up in a headline, "Cougar passes through Stillwater, Minnesota". At times it's only a matter of vernacular preference. Here's a snippit from wiki on the subject of naming:

The term big cat - which is not a biological classification - is used informally to distinguish the larger cat species from smaller ones. One definition of "big cat" includes the four members of the genus panthera: the tiger, lion, jaguar, and leopard. Members of this genus are the only cats able to roar. A more expansive definition of "big cat" also includes the cheetah, snow leopard, and cougar. These "roaring cats" are also sometimes distinguished from the other big cats by the term great cats. Despite enormous differences in size, the various species of cat are quite similar in both structure and behavior, with the exception of the cheetah, which is significantly different from any of the big or small cats. All cats Operate similarly as carnivores and are efficient predators in their ecoSystems.

I would hope that I could tell the difference between and leopard and a jaguar if I saw them in the wild, but honestly even after developing this puzzle, I'm still not sure I could...
