We visited many dog parks across the US while Geocaching with our dog, Maggie, and wondered why there wasn't a dog park in the Williamsport area. In October of 2008 I set out to get one built at this beautiful community park. The Friends of Paws Park was formed and we began fund raising to make this dream a reality, all without a dime from the taxpayers!
This park is in honor of our wonderful dog and furry friend, Maggie, and we named it PAWS PARK.
If you come to do this cache, please bring your dog and play awhile. Enjoy the park and get a cache too. Double your pleasure and double your fun! WOOF, WOOF!
Please be stealthy as you look. This park will be busy, especially on weekends. PARK IS OPEN FROM 8:00 AM UNTIL SUNSET.
