WWFM VI Fishin' Ocean Grove Style
It's time for another short yet exciting event, that will be held this time in Ocean Grove, NJ. November 14th at 1 pm sharp we will meet on a fishing pier and sign the log. The name of the event is
Fishin' O.G. Style so please dress accordingly - waders, fishing poles and any other fishing equipment is more then welcome.
Whats a Flash Mob you ask? Most already know, but to those new mobbers....
A "Flash Mob" is a sudden convergence of people, doing something unusual, and leaving onlookers wondering "what was that all about?" This event will last for only 15 minutes, no longer, no shorter.
WWFM (World Wide Flash Mob Event)
* Dozens of events all around the world
* Thousands of geocachers participating
* Coordinated to happen at the same time
* To bring together geocachers for a fun and unique event all around the world, at the exact same point in time in time.
* To introduce others to the fun of geocaching – we will have flyers to hand out to passing muggles
ITINERARY:
12:45 PM - 12:59 PM - Participants wait patiently and/or stroll around the area. STAY AWAY from ground zero until the signal is given. Best as you can, act like a muggle, pretend not to know each other or give any indication that something is about to happen. At 12:59 PM slowly begin to move towards ground zero.
1:00 PM – Everyone will converge right at ground zero. Log slips will be handed out - Bring your own pen or pencil. Sign individual log slip and drop it in the fish bowl.
1:05 PM – snacks will be distributed
1:08 PM – Group picture takes place. Listen carefully and follow all directions given by photographer quickly as to where to line up.
1:12 PM - At this time we will be having a raffle and the name picked will from the collection box. Swag bucket will also be available.
1:14 PM - One minute warning is announced: "It is now 1:14. Prepare to leave!"
1:15 PM EXACTLY – Everyone leave immediately!
This event will be held rain or shine – please come prepared for the elements.
We will gather at The Shawmont Hotel, 17 Ocean Ave after the event ends.
