Exciting news! We, TheHarvesters, have stumbled upon an authentic treasure trail, hidden by a warm-hearted pirate who frequented these parts in the early nineteenth century. The information we found gave instructions to locate the lifetime swag of the remarkable, Captain Stubbs.
What follows is our digital recreation (a fun-for-all-ages, multi) of this timeworn journey, still using the rascals own words as we found them:
Ar-harrr, me hearties!
Well done! Ye found me scribblin's, and so you've proven yerself worthy of learnin' more. Yer'll be wantin' to find some treasure, I'll be bound?
We'll, it's some years now since I stashed me last bounty in a secret hideaway. It's well in-land and away from those scurvy sea-dogs who were wantin' a piece o' me riches!
Arr! The riches! I still remember...
finding a likely spot, marked out by an 'X' an' all, it was...
...at least, I think it was !?

Truth is, I'm just an old wreck meself these days, and it'll not be long 'fore I'm headin' to Fiddlers Green, and me peace. Arr ha haaaarrr!
'Bout time for me to be handin' me secrets (and the treasure!) over to such hardy adventurer maties as ye must be! If ye think ye can find it, that is.
These here words are to give ye some help o'course, but me memory is fadin', so yer'll have to use yer noggin, and make sure yer followin' the path right, all the way. Me grog-drenched skull may've made a mistake or two, so take wisdom from this old salty-dog and trust yerself most of all. Then yer'll be sure to profit from me sweet trade.
One thing I do remember, clear as a crab-pool - there are 2 stops along the way. For each one I writ a wiley reminder fer 'ow to get to the next part... jus' in case... Arrr! If ye follow 'em well, you'll get to the swag, simple, and call yerself GC-Buccanneers! or else be DNF-Scallywags!, fit fer nuffin' but walkin' the plank!
YO HO HO!
Old Cap'n Stubbs. X
Getting Started
Start your journey from either of the following:
N50 54.190 W001 15.080 - Car Parking - means a short walk along a busy road
N50 54.103 W001 15.095 - On road parking - means an even shorter walk along a busy road (about 40-50 meters) Then be sure to begin your adventure by heading down the footpath at:
N50 53.926 W001 15.140 - Good Luck!
The first set of instructions from Stubbs:
After me ale I'd carry me swag up the main track an' off south into the fields and woodland beyond. That's the first step... 'ead down this southern track, and over one gate, and then on till ye get to a wide track runin' east-west. The main paths cross. Tha's right... the first cross...Arr!
There's a gate ye can climb to the field (full of new 'ouses) yonder south. Whilst yer climbing the gate look ???th-westerly, an' ye'll see trees just 20 paces away.
Tha's where the clue's be...'idden in a small stash. Be wary of the holly.
Frustratingly the part of the instruction where it reads "???" was burnt and lost, but it was either north-westerly, or south-westerly. Not hard to guess when you're stood at the 'gate' which now seems to be abandoned.
We recommend you make a note of this first instruction (at least the bold bits) so you can follow it when you arrive at the start of the footpath - coordinates as above.
We'd also would like to point out that there is no cash in this cache, and that the main prize is in the joy of finding the final article. You should still find some nice piratey swag tho'... and encourage you to drop off similar in honour of Old Cap'n Stubbs. Note: wear your best pirate boots as it will be muddy (boggy after rain). Please try to hide the caches as well as you find them. The kissing gate has been replaced by a footbridge.
Oh, and... Ar-Haaarrrr !
Thankyou.
TheArrrvesters!
