Geocache Description:

A reasonably easy offset-puzzle cache that will take you to a significant memorial.

The coordinates will take you to the Ruskin Heights Tornado Memorial. The Ruskin Heights Tornado Memorial is on the site of the path of a devastating tornado (pictures in gallery) that occurred on May 20, 1957. The Ruskin Heights Tornado began west of Williamsburg, Kansas. It crossed four counties. After one hour and thirty-eight minutes, the tornado finally relented somewhere east of Knob Town, Missouri. Thirty-nine people from Kansas and Missouri lost their lives due to the tornado within 48-hours. Subsequently, five others lost their lives from injuries related to the tornado.

East of the brick memorial is the tree arbor portion of the memorial. Each tree is dedicated to one of the victims of the Ruskin Heights Tornado. Each tree has an individual plaque.

All of the information you need to solve the puzzle will be found at the memorial site. Once solved, the cache should be easily retrieved. The distance between the memorial and the cache is significant enough that motorized transportation between waypoints is recommended.
