Geocache Description:

CITO at the Lagoon takes you to the picturesque Glenbrook Lagoon. It is fed by a natural spring and surface water from the surrounding landscape. There are a number of historical and environmental plaques dotted around the lagoon that give a great insight to this peaceful spot.

This natural wetland tends to accumulate a lot of urban rubbish. Help the Glenbrook Lagoon Society in keeping this place clean for the native flora and fauna.

In pursuing this multi-cache I encourage you to take some gloves and plastic bag and pick up a bit of rubbish if you see it. Every little bit helps and you will be conducting a bit of CITO (Cache-In-Trash-Out).

WP 1 is the car park you find yourself in once you follow the listed coordinates for this cache. There is a rubbish bin here – a useful fact if you plan to CITO!

WP 2 coordinates can be found ‘under the hand rails’ at WP 1

WP 3 coordinates can be found ‘inside the fence post’ at WP 2

You can get all the way around the lake. This includes a short walk on the opposite side of Glenbrook road.

GZ coordinates can be found ‘behind the plaque’ at WP 3

A little stealth will be required at GZ, with walking tracks near by. Have fun and don’t forget to add to the gallery of flora and fauna photos.
