Top of the Range Cachers 3rd Pub Lunch Event Cache

This cache has been archived.

Roaring Ford: I have put off archiving this event as there were still 6 trackables logged in. I have sent a query about the trackables to all that logged an attendance with few responces I have had no choice but to mark these trackables as "Missing", hopefully these will surface again in the near future as 5 of the 6 owners were at the event.
Will look at some sort of security measeures for the next event I organise...

Geocache Description:

This meet and greet is the third held for the Toowoomba cachers to get together and relive travels and conquest . It is open to all cachers from anywhere they wish to travel from and will take the form of a pay as you go counter lunch.

At the Valentine in Queens Park event several of the Toowoomba cachers got together to organise a regular event. It is now my turn to emulate the great events organised and hosted by Timmo's and the ever willing (and often suffering) Qld Flash.

A chance to come talk caching face to face with other like afflicted people. Anyone welcome not just the keen locals.

Although this location is a bit of a drive out of town, there are a few caches along some of the possible routes to keep you entertained and the fare at the pub is well worth the travel.

The venue is one of the older hotels in Queensland but has plenty of room for weary and hungry cachers and the Geokids are welcome.
Start time is 12:30 to allow attendance at another earlier event and a cache or two during your transit for lunch.

This is a chance for Geocachers to get together, ask advice or guidance, gather some great tips and a chance to put faces to those tags you see in the log books.

If you're brand new to Geocaching, it's an excellent opportunity to meet other Geocachers who may have a bit more experience under their belt. A chance to come talk caching face to face with other like afflicted people and learn how to:
• How to get the best out of the Geocaching.com and Geocaching.com.au web sites
• Tips on constructing and hiding a Geocache
• Paper less Geocaching
If you have any thoughts/comments, bring them along, e-mail me or post here. Don't forget you can also swap and discover Geocoins and Travel Bugs at the event. Please register your intention to attend by leaving a 'will attend' entry on this page or e-mail me as I need to give numbers to the venue.
