Located along the road with parking closeby. A small little hop to find the cache.
The Cougar Reservoir is one of our favorite spots to get away from the bustle of valley life. Beautiful scenery and awesome water make this place a gem. We've been camping and boating here for years. Mr McGeester actually walked along the bottom of the valley when they drained it while reworking the water inlet tower at the dam. Pretty amazing.
This was going to be a 241 cache if you have done any of those in Salem but it is not a USGS. Maybe that's a hint. Still possible to log it at Waymarking.com.
