Geocache Description:

To be really clear, please use Mumbo Jumbo's caching history to solve this one, and not mine. Cache is currently a lunch box type container. Tired of boring micros? Got a TB which wont fit in the caches you visit? Don't have a degree in further maths or a PhD in symbology (which is what lots of puzzles seem to require)? Have a go at the crossword every now and then? Then this cache is for you!!!

Do not go to the listing co-ordinates. The cache isn't there. However, it is no more than a couple of miles away.

I set out with the dual objective of hiding a large cache (it has to be a large cache because I want to release a couple of TBs which are too big to fit in most caches round here) and of setting a challenging but do-able puzzle. It may take a bit of work but it's just what you need as the evenings draw in and there's no light for caching.

Some of you will probably already have worked out that the name of the cache unscrambles to . . . anagram cache. And that's what this cache is about - anagrams.

The cache is at N52 2A.BCD W001 5E.FGH. To get the value of the letters A - H you need to work out the anagrams below. Each anagram unscrambles into the name of a cache I found in my first 2 years of caching. Once you have identified the cache, the letter value is derived from its GC code.

For example:

Correctly nurture a poor vet [GC+4]

The anagram solution is "Turnover - Corporate Cruelty" (by zoomlens) and the GC code is GC10W4H. GC+4 refers to the 4th letter / digit after GC, in this case 4.

A - Kid left discs [GC+3]

B - Hugged a sour lint roll [GC+4]

C - A junk town thrills either cab [GC+5]

D - A green diet cracked socks [GC+3]

E - Follow a shamrock [GC+2]

F - Dad's curry bowl [GC+3]

G - Eager ski turns [GC+2]

H - Scratch damns Titans [GC+3]

The area can be popular with local yoof so please take care not to compromise the location. Thanks.

Credit goes to SidAndBob whose cache "Cheetah Armagnac" (GCXTMB) was the inspiration for this puzzle (solved but not yet visited!).
