Geocache Description:

Breadalbane is the name given to a large area of Scotland from Loch Lomond across to Perthshire. There are many streets, hotels, schools etc reflecting this name.
Breadalbane is also the collective name given to the rulling clan familys of this part of Scotland who rulled through out the 16th, 17th, 18th and 19th centuries.
Some of the main clans were the Campbells, the McNeills, the McDonalds, the MacGregors and the McNabs.

Killin is a town in the heart of Breadalbane country and it is also the home of the Breadalbane Folklore Centre where you can learn all about the history of the people and the area.
The Clan McNab actually have burial grounds at Killin. Located on the small island of Innis Buidhe, which is accessible from the bridge over the River Dochart, it is the last resting place of the clan chiefs dating back to the mid-17th century. A path leads from a gate in the bridge to the burial enclosure.
Other graves lies outwith the enclosure.

Since this place is such a Breadalbane stronghold, it seemed appropriate to place this Weir's Way cache in the town. After visiting the Folklore Centre and maybe visiting Innis Buidhe, make your way to the carpark at the coordinates below. From there find the path along the river and follow the arrow until you go over the bridge.
Just after this bridge there is a kissing-gate on the right. Go through this and follow the riverside path right round till you get to the gate. At this point turn in land and follow the arrow to the cache (avoiding the cowpats!).
