Unlike a maze, a labyrinth has only one path. Walk to the center-most point of the labyrinth to find the clue to the treasure.
A labyrinth is an ancient symbol that relates to wholeness. The Labyrinth represents a journey to our own center and back out again into the world. Labyrinths have long been used as meditation and prayer tools. Unlike a maze, a labyrinth has only one path. It is unicursal. The way in is the way out. While a maze is a puzzle to be solved, a labyrinth guides you to its inner-most center.
Walk the path of our labyrinth to its inner most center. As you walk, count the total number of arcs that comprise the labyrinth. The total number of arcs plus one equals "A". Then count the total number of stones that make up the inner most arc. The total number of stones in the inner arc minus 13 equals "B".
The coordinates to the next location are as follows:
N 40° 16.A94
W 076° 39.B14
Along the way to the second location, you'll pass a sign listing the office hours. The first number in the start of office hours equals "C".
At the second location, count the number of panes in the window located behind the mailbox. The number of panes divided by 4, equals "D".
The final coordinates to the treasure are as follows:
N 40° 16.C00
W 076° 39.D96
Once you get to the treasure, be sure to sign the log and take one item out of the cache. No need to deposit your own goodie. We'll keep the cache well stocked.
