Cache is hidden at an entrance of Senbayashi Shotengai. Classic way of hide.
In Osaka, we still have a lot of shotengai --- traditional shopping streets. Senbayashi Shotengai is one of them. Shotengai is a long shopping street along which local papa-and-mom retail stores run their businesses under the same roof. Yes, the mile-long street is conveniently covered by a roof all the way so that customers enjoy shopping whatever it is shinning, raining or snowing.
To get there, take Subway Tanimachi Line for Dainich and get off at Senbayashi Omiya station. Or you can also take Keihan Line local train and get off at Senbayashi station.
The Senbayashi Shotengai actually runs between the two stations and you won't miss.
Your GPSr will bring you to the spot near the gate. But the coordinate is not exactly the location of the cache due to unstable GPS signal reception shadowed by nearby buildings.
So, please get out of the gate completely and turn off your GPSr. Now, stand away from the gate and observe the gate carefully.
You will see two metal round objects sticking out of a red box. A tiny cache is placed just around the spot. Stretch your fingers.
Once retrieving the cache, I recommend you to enter a coffee shop right next to the gate, where you can relax listening to Jazz being played and sign the log.
Cheers!
