This cache is located on the trail from the mouth of Dry Canyon to Logan Peak. It starts at an elevation of 5100 ft and heads up to 9300 ft. But why stop there? You might as well go all the way to Logan Peak (9700ft).
The original contents of this cache are as follows:
"high on mountain top" travel bug
compass
pocket knife
nail clippers
can opener
waterproof matches
2 finger lights
small carabineer
snake bite first aid kit
level key ring
log book and pen
The cache is near a steep drop-off so please be careful!
If you need any instructions on how to find the trailhead and/or the trail to Logan Peak, just email me and I'll be happy to help. Just know that as the trail approaches Logan Peak it becomes very indistinct. There are bright colored ribbons that mark the way but it is still easy to lose the 'trail'; however, you can always just bushwhack your way the remaining mile or so.
