This cache can be located using any type of vehicle due to the pulloff from the main road, however it is not wheelchair accessible.
The original contents of the cache include:
USA 100 piece puzzle, Cars Magic Towel, Modeling Clay, Pocket Calculator, Log book and Pen.
In the many years of growing up in Howe I have learned quite a few names for this little site seeing spot. Some of those include: "The Point," "Mays Hill," and "The Sinks Hill." From the little mountain nearby you can see "The Sinks" where the Little Lost River used to flow into, but hasn't for several years. The locals use this spot for watching the wildlife during hunting season, checking livestock on the desert, and a place to get away from it all. From the top of the nearby hill you can look down into the beautiful Howe valley and see the clusters of farms, including our family's, for miles. Be sure to visit the rest of the town and if you have time check out the Power Trail Northwest of here.
This cache was moved a little ways from the original spot to avoid concerns of trespassing on INL property. Rest assured that it is within the public highway right of way.
