Well protected by brambles and thistles so suggest taking a pair of gloves.
The South Cheshire Way leaves the Cheshire Canal Ring Footpath at Thurlwood and heads North Easterly and then East until it joins the Gritstone Trail at Mow Cop. The path passes Little Moreton Hall ( National Trust Property- well worth a visit) The views over Cheshire, Staffordshire and beyond are quite spectacular from near the folly at Mow Cop.
