If you're not on a bike, there's a gravel road just west of GZ that you can safely park along.
Placed in honor of Frank, who retired a couple of years ago from the WHO-TV Engineering Department. Forty years ago, Frank was a signal maintainer for the Illinois Central Railroad in Iowa, and certainly understands the old railroad relics abandoned at GZ, originally installed by the Milwaukee Road when this was part of their mainline between Chicago and Council Bluffs.
