Geocache Description:


KOOL

Welcome to the eighth cache by the Burkey Turkeys.

It is a very short walk down Koola track in East Killara.

You will be looking for a large cache box (a 7 litre Sistema). There is plenty of room to exchange your trackable items.

The cache is hidden only a few metres or so off the track. The walk from the track entrance to the cache is less than 5 minutes to enable easy trackable item exchanges. If you wish to complete the full walk, it is approximately one and a quarter hours each way.

The full walk explores a section of Middle Harbour and Gordon Creek following a narrow bush track. This walk provides some great views across Middle Harbour Creek and the bushland of the area. This walk also gets close to the mangroves by Middle Harbour Creek and with the right tide these can be very interesting to explore.

Please ensure geo-kiddies are kept well away from any vertical hazards.
