Prison Tree is
located near the King River Road - Karunjie Track on a rough dirt
road off the highway 22 kms from the highway. Access by 4WD
only.
The Boab tree has a
circumference of 14.7 metres and is estimated to be between 2000
and 4000 years old, amazing!
It used to serve as
an overnight lock up for patrols taking prisoners to Wyndham in the
early days.
