Adventures In Peacemaking and Diversity Cache Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Gunkslinger: Leaving the site for new cachers. Went to retreive the cache today, October 26th.

Was very dissapointed to see that my ammo box was stolen and replaced by a plastic pretzel container.

This kind of action is very unacceptable. Just my opinion.

How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

An ammo box hidden near the trails at the Pine Lake Challenge Course. Some stealth may be required if there is a program for muggles happening when you are caching. Please hide again well. Park at N 41 39.774 W 072 54.363. My GPS had a bit of a bounce. Accuracy 25-30 feet.

This cache is dedicated to all of the students, past, present and future who participate in the Adventures in Peacemaking and Diversity program, (APD). APD is a year long adventure program shaping the culture of entire school communities. Participating schools in Bristol and Plymouth join with the Bristol Youth Service staff and the Pine Lake Challenge Course staff to encourage students to embrace a multi-cultural society and to encourage them to explore their world. Each year over 300, 3rd to 5th graders unite with their pen pals from an urban or suburban school to work together on hands-on/ minds-on activities in science, math and language arts at their schools and at the Pine Lake Challenge Course. Geocaching has been part of that math and science curriculum. The APD students love geocaching. So this is their cache.
