Dead Head
Woke up this morning, felt around for my shoes
That’s when I knew I had them old (geocaching) blues
I woke up this morning, felt around, felt around for my shoes
That’s when I knew I had them old, mean old (geocaching) blues
No reason to suffer from the geocaching blues- go have a walk in Deadman’s Pass Reserve, find a few caches and listen to some Bird Song...
Search the Attics of (your) Life for some swag...
Ring your mates Althea & Cassidy (never know when you’ll need a little Help On The Way)...
Bring a brolly if it Looks Like Rain...
Leave your Brokedown Palace and get Truckin’ on down The Golden Road...
Don’t worry, in Deadman’s Pass you won’t Feel Like A Stranger...
Out just after Sunrise? There could still be Morning Dew on the grass...
Have the geo-mutt or geokids with you? Tell them We Can Run...
If you’re on a night run, the trail can be steep/slippery so you might need Just A Little Light...
Found some swag you like? Introduce yourself and tell it I Will Take You Home...
Found a trackable? Please take this Passenger to a new cache...
You can get to GZ on trails running along the southern fence line of the reserve (no need to bush bash- you can Let It Grow). Don’t hop the fence or enter the private property to the south of the reserve- access to GZ is not Hard To Handle. At GZ you’ll be up in the trees, so the Eyes Of The World won’t be on you but the muggles can sneak up on you from different angles so be careful, and you might feel like you’re Sitting On Top Of The World (sort of). Depending on which way you approach the cache, you might need to cross the South Para River...but don’t worry, it’s not a Big River. The cache is hidden in an obvious spot, so you shouldn’t need to search Around & Around to find thePromised Land.
Cache is very near the trail, so please re-hide carefully and make sure camo is placed back so muggles don't catch on.
Found it? Good work. Celebrate with a little Dancing In The Streets. When you’re done dancing, Beat It On Down The Line...
Turn On Your Love Light, crank up Uncle John’s Band & keep caching Till the Morning Comes!
