Geocache Description:

We used to stop here when we were kids and to stretch our legs and watch the water flow through the wheel. Now it seems that age has taken it's toll on this old water wheel and alas it turns no more. Unfortunately I've now got no place to grind my axe. You're looking for a small lock 'n' lock style container. It is well camo'd but a keen eye will spot it quickly. Also please use extreme caution on your way to this cache, as there is no reason for you to get wet. Update: The wheel is once again spinning, albeit with the use of some modern methods. If you've got an axe to grind, don't hesitate. Please respect this historical site. Update 2(7/23/23: It looks like we've been getting a lot of traffic on this, but I've neglected the cache for some time. Today I'll be heading to do a little maintenance. We're updating the cache to an ammo can and replacing the soaked log so everyone can continue to enjoy the waterwheel and cache for years to come. This cache was placed with permission from land owner Jeff Estes. 9 feet accuracy at 400 averages.
