Geocache Description:

The Small Cache is not at the listed coordinates, but it is a good place to start, and the GZ is within this small, very public park. You will need you best stealthy performance here. You will also need your own writing stick.

This cache would be best attempted outside normal working hours, as the gardeners are generally there full time, please take special care when retrieving and replacing this one.

If you are away from home and need to log some caches the eastern end of this park has a FREE internet wireless hotspot supplied by the Bundaberg City Council, just sit yourself down and logon

At WP1 you will need to find the Plaque Dedicated By “The Institution of Engineers, Australia” This plaque “Acknowledges Bundaberg as the World Centre of Development and Manufacture of Sugar Cane Harvesters”
On this plaque you will find that Australian farms started developing sugar cane harvesters around the 189As, and the year that this plaque was dedicated 19BC.

At WP2 you will find a Memorial to Squadron – Leader H.J.L. Bert Hinkler. On here you will find his date of Birth Dth December 189E, and the date he was accidentally killed in the Italian Alps 8th January 19F3

Once you have these numbers you can calculate the final location of the cache below.
