In an effort to put more caches in the Eagle River area I decided to dedicate a series of caches to Eagle Shark, who has provided more laughs than I can count while we’ve been caching. He certainly as made this sport a lot more enjoyable! We’ll see if he can get any of the FTF’s for the series.
Approximately a year ago I introduced Eagle Shark to geo-caching. He had a somewhat antiquated GPS which caused some safety considerations with its margin of error. On one particular day I was helping him get a drive-by cache. I thought I would make it somewhat easy, as we were in a hurry, and parked within several feet of it. Much to my dismay Eagle Shark left the geo-mobile, sprinted out of the parking lot, up a short hill and into traffic!
So this series is dedicated to Eagle Shark, who was probably told from a very young age to play in traffic. But that is just a guess. (Mrs. Eagle has just purchased life insurance for Eagle Shark.)
