Have your passport ready. Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

V & R: Popped in today to retrieve the TB. The ivy covered wall in which the cache was hidden has been demolished by a car. The cache was lying on the ground where the workmen had gathered all the stonework together to repair the end of the bridge. Unfortunately the TB was missing from the cache. Will probably put another cache back here but in a new location.

Geocache Description:

Cache is a letterboxing pillpot bound in black tape. Will hold coins and small TB's. Please push the cache well back under the ivy when replacing. Ample parking but the area is used extensively by the public for a lunch stop, so a certain amount of stealth is required. The bridge was on the original turnpike road and in the middle is a very well preserved milestone with the lettering L2, relating to 2 miles to Launceston. Also embedded into the east side of the bridge is another old discarded benchmark. We have named the cache after the old adage that you need your passport to enter Cornwall and this bridge spans the River Tamar which is the boundary betweeen Devon & Cornwall.
