Located at Lock 27 Youngs Point, there is plenty of parking, a
general store, Lock Side Trading Company and Island View restaurant
great for having a meal by the water. This place is great for a
picnic, fishing and just watching the boats go by. I pick this spot
because it's a beautiful place to rest before heading north on Hwy
28.
Hello, I hope you enjoy this cache, I love the area and it can be
accessed by car or boat. There is a lot of summer activities that
happens at Youngs Point and I'm sure if your around the area you
heard of Lock Side Trading Company. The cache is a regular lock
container the contents are: Note Pad, Pencil, Canadian Spoon, Magic
Bubbles, Canada Eh! Button, Key chain compass, Canada Button,
Crayon Eraser, Geo Coin, and Travel Bug. The site will be perfect
once the leafs are fully developed, its location is off the trail
but perfect is you had someone for a spotter and visited during the
evening is better or stealth will be needed. Please sign and date
note pad with a brief description of your visit. Cheers
