Geocache Description:

In the pond you find many huge carps (N 35° 36.159 E 139° 41.485, see photo), in the air you find wild birds and on the ground you will find birdwatchers. There are boats for rent, boardwalk over the water, a playground for kids, a library, a temple, a shrine, a restaurant and of course a couple of toilets.

In early September, the annual festival of Senzokuike Hachimangu Shrine is held. In late March, the Sakura festival starts.

The park is near Senzoku-Ike St. (Ikegami Line).

Finding the Cache

At the coordinates you will not find the final cache! You will find a micro cache, stage 1.

Stage 1, at the coordinates above (N 35° 36.002 E 139° 41.483).
Size: Micro. Difficulty: 1,5. Terrain: 1,5.

This cache can be hard to pick up unseen! Therefore, walk while searching. And if you don't find it within a few tries, please use the spoiler! (Please write in the log message if you used the spoiler.) After you have grabbed the cache, you should walk a little away before opening and proceeding.

The answer to the question in this cache gives you the number for the variable A.

From this cache, walk counter-clockwise (seen from birds view) around the pond. Look for signs and count the number of frogs on each sign. You will have to find 4 signs with frogs on. Of these four signs with frogs on, let B be the number of frogs on the first sign, let C be the number of frogs on the second sign, let D be the number of frogs on the third sign and let E be the number of frogs on the fourth sign. It is important that you count them in the counter-clockwise order!

Beware! You will need some skills to calculate the coordinates of the stage 2 cache and the final cache.

Stage 2, at N 35° 36.(C+E-2*B)((A+B)*D+C) E 139° 41.(sqrt(D+B+E))(A+E)(2*C-B)
Size: Micro. Difficulty: 2. Terrain: 1,5.
If you find a foot: Replace B with the number 2.
If you find a hand: Replace B with the number 3.
If you find a head: Replace B with the number 4.

Final stage, at N 35° 36.(A+B-2*C)(A+E+D-B)(B^E) E 139° 41.(C)(A+E-B)(E^B)
Size: Virtual. Difficulty: 2,5. Terrain: 1.
Looking at this point you should be able to answer the following question:
"What is at once natural and unnatural?"
If you are not completely sure that you found the answer, check the hint, and if you are still not sure, please e-mail me. You should not log your visit on this listing unless you know the correct answer. Please don't write the answer in your log!
