Geocache Description:

This is a small cache. GeoCoins & Small TB's Only. Trading of rings & shells are accepted. (See Below)

I placed this cache because of a miracle that happened to me on July 18, 2008!

On July 17th 2008 I went to Hampton Beach with my sister. Something that we have never done. We got there with no problem. We decided to set up somewhere close to the bathrooms and what would be for us a central location. We were not really interested in going into the water but just to sun bathe and look around. While setting up I decided to put some lotion on but noticed that I still had my jewelry on so I took it all off and then put them in what I thought was the pocket of my shorts that I wore that were in my bag. We ran around and enjoyed the day. Started to get late so we headed back home. Halfway home I discovered that I was missing some of my rings. These rings are not anything I would want to part with so try to feel my pain. I had almost an hour and a half in the car looking over and over again through my bag with no luck. My sister finally got to my house and we tore her car apart with no luck there either. She went home and I proceeded to look and tear my bag apart again. Still no rings. Thought what if I dropped them on the ground where I was sitting. Without hesitation I decided after not sleeping that night to head back up to Hampton Beach with my metal detector and search for my missing rings. I finally get to the beach at 7:30 am and it was misting out. They were actually predicting rain for that day. I go onto the beach with my metal dectector and noticed other people were also there with their metal detectors as it seemed to be less likely that I would find my rings but I still was determined to find them. Headed onto the beach and ran into a couple so I took the chance and asked them if they or anyone else for that matter happen to find some rings. They said no so I then continued to search the area where we were sitting. The couple then proceeded to tell me that not only did the sifter come already but also there had been at least half dozen people & their metal detectors already out as early as 5:30 in the morning. So at that point, I just died. Started to cry and think about how irresponsible I was and that I didn’t appreciate the rings cause if I did, I wouldn’t have lost them and I wouldn’t have had to travel all the way back there. So I continued to search really beginning to loose hope. All of the sudden the gentleman says to me what color were the rings and I said to him, purple. All of the sudden he was showing me rings, my rings. Can you imagine? I thanked him so many times there was nothing I wouldn’t have done for him. Matter of fact I gave him all the remaining money I had on me which was between $20 & $40. Just handed it to him and told him that I was so grateful that I could just die. I immediately texted a picture of the rings to my husband as he had to travel to Virginia during this whole ordeal and had felt so bad for me that he couldn’t be there for me. It only made his ride even longer. After I sat in shock for what seemed forever I headed back home with my true miracle. I can’t believe I went back to the beach in the sand and found rings that were left where thousands of people probably passed by a million times. A TRUE MIRACLE.
