Full sized cache and dash located at the PA Visitors Center on I-81 South perfect for those passing through the area.
I've been planning on putting a cache in this very spot for over a year now. I finally went out this winter and bought an ammo box for it. When I was preparing to place the cache today I noticed that another cache was placed at this visitors center late last year. I guess that's what I get for procrastinating! However, I think this place is big enough to accomodate 2 caches.
I know a lot of travelers will come to this location and may not have a lot of time to spend here. So I tried to make this a fairly straight forward find. Although during times in the winter, it might be a little more difficult. Please ensure the cache is adequately camoflauged when you put it back. The first 100 feet of the trek to the cache may be a little muddy if it has rained recently, but the area closer to the cache should be high and dry.
There is a small container inside the ammo can that holds the log book and travel bugs. Please try to keep the TBs in the container if they fit, so they don't get overlooked amongst the other swag items in the bottom of the box.
