This cache is located at the trailhead of the new Missouri Research Park Trail, a ¾-mile paved hiking/biking connector trail from a small parking lot to the Katy Trail in Weldon Springs. The trail is a relatively flat walk from parking to the Missouri River.
My youngest grandson has been asking me when I was going to hide some caches; so, when Arthur TOAFK invited me to participate in hiding caches along this trail, I couldn’t refuse. You must furnish your own writing utensil to sign the log. When you rehide the cache, make sure that it is secure. Thanks to the staff at the Missouri Research Park for examining our proposal for caches along the trail and granting permission. Please remember that you are their guest, practice CITO, and report any problems or issues you may encounter to the proper authority, or to me, as the cache owner, and I will relay the information. Parking for trail hiking, biking and geocaching is nearby.
