This is along the PROPOSED Rail to Trail to be named Veteran's Memorial Bikeway. There is a small spot to park a car just west of the cache with a short walk to cache. Watch out for ATVers, they seem to have taken control of this area.
I moved this a bit to a new hide. I replaced this with a cammoed PB jar. I think the ATV kids prolly found it and stole it, although I have heard rumors of some cachers taking ammo cans...
This cache is on a proposed multi-use trail to be named the Veteran's Memorial Bikeway. It is planned to be an extension of the Pennsy and Erie Lackawana Trails that end in Crown Point Indiana. These trails also connect with others and could create a huge trail network.
The Veteran's Memorial Bikeway picks up on the SE side of Crown Point and runs mostly parrallel with US RT 231 until it branches off to Stoney Run County Park.
I am starting this cache with a batch of kid friendly swag.
