Along a trail in a new park at the mouth of Green Canyon recently created by North Logan. It is a pleasant and scenic stroll.
The cache is a largish "Tupperware" container containing (at the time of hiding) a "Lost Scout" travel bug and a few trade items for kiddies, along with pencils, a sharpener, and a log book.
The history of this site is "interesting." Not so long ago investors were attracted to a project to mine magnesium for a war effort from supposedly mineral rich Green Canyon. A processing plant was built but, lo and behold, turns out there is not much magnesium in this region after all. Bye-bye money! "Confidence scams" seem to be part of every generation, don't they.
Please approach via the trail, and be careful of rusted junk, glass shards, and left over deer parts. Snakes might like this place as well.
