You are looking for a 400ml container. This is the third of the
Arran Clach of Cultures caches is hidden on a cat shaped
rock on the hillside above the mouth of Glen Catacol; though for
the mimetolith to work you may need to partake of some Viking mead.
The pun is very much intended, a Clach is a rock and
each of these caches celebrates a cultural clash on Arran
and a rock associated with a different animal.
This is the true Cat Stone named after the wildcats
that gave Catacol its name in Auld Norse (the steep sided valley of
the wild cat). The other more famous Cat Stone in the middle
of the road between Sannox and Corrie is actually Clach a'
Cath (stone of the fight) the site of a skirmish between
occupying Parlimentary troops and disgruntled locals during the
Civil War.
