Geocache Description:

A one-and-a-half star cache, placed in a park in Glendale, in honour of a less than stellar car.

The first car owned by the J part of j_peg was a primer red Pontiac Astre Notchback - a cousin of the Vega. Astre is French for "Celestial Body" - perhaps Detroit was into sarcasm in a big way in the 70's. This was one of the cars that they experimented with completely aluminum engine blocks. Saves a lot of weight, but hard to rebuild unless you bore it out and put in steel sleeves.

You are looking for a camo taped nut container with a screw cap.

This cache was placed for the Calgary Cache and Release Winter 2009 event, and should not be sought out until after 5:30 pm on March 13th. Any log entires made before that may be deleted.
