So Many Memories ... Peninsula State Park, established in 1909, begins its second century. Geocachers must use trails to travel between caches and comply with all park rules. Please respect Peninsula's historical legacy: DO NOT dismantle any natural or built structure while seeking caches. Gently rolling terrain. So Many Memories, launched in 2009, has been revised in 2010 to celebrate Wisconsin's Year of the Niagara Escarpment.
Discover park history and nature through this multi-stage cache. Complete the cache and earn a prize (while supplies last). Enjoy spectacular views along the way.
Tips: Ask for a Peninsula State Park trail map at park headquarters before starting. There is a parking lot across the road from start coordinates (state park vehicle sticker required). Distance covered is approximately 3 miles. This cache will be deactivated from November 15 - March 31.
The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to the Peninsula State Park Superintendent of the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin DNR managed lands require permission by means of a notification form. This has been done, giving permission for the cache placement.
