You will be embarking on an approximately 1.8 km hike through
beautiful forest to a very nice view.
This cache is located in
Stoney Hill Municipal Forest(click the link
for more info). There is another cache on this hill,
Wednesday Walk, which gives coordinates for
parking and the trailhead.
For the most part, you can enjoy a leisurely stroll on a nice
trail. However, I decided to give this a 3 terrain rating because
the last 200 metres or so may require you to find your own route.
There are numerous quasi-trails marked with flagging tape...we
followed some blue flagging to the cache spot.
I would not recommend this at night, and please do keep a close
eye on kids and pets, as there are some drop offs nearby.
The cache is a l-litre lock n lock hidden at the base of a small
tree. Bright orange flagging tape marks the spot.
