This is the first meeting of the Watertown High School and Middle School geocaching club. The meeting is March 9, 2009 in room 611 at the high school at 3:30.
Students enrolled at the Watertown High School and Watertown Middle School who are interested in attending this meeting are welcome to be a part of the club. Members of Watertown or surrounding communities who are interested are also welcome to attend. If you are from outside of the school system you must log your intention to attend so we can greet you at the school entrance and get you a visitor pass.
This meeting will be very general information about geocaching. It is intended for all levels of participants. Several students will have caching experience, many will have no experience at all. Everyone is welcome to come and check it out. The club was lucky enough to receive a grant from the Arrow Education Foundation for some GPSr's and general caching materials so even if you don't have a GPS - come and enjoy the fun.
We are planning a monthly meeting to discuss everything surrounding caching from finding to hiding caches. We will also be looking at surrounding areas to do some caching as a group.
