Brazos Bend State Park Traditional Cache
VossX2: Area has badly flooded... again. It will be months before caches in this area can be verified and or replaced. Archiving as I know I will not be able to replace in a timely manner. Hoping new cachers will take advantage of the open areas as things dry out!

Don't be scared, try it out !!!!!!
As you turn off of the highway, you will find this cache nestled in the trees. There are currently 59 active caches here in Brazos Bend State Park that have been placed by several different owners so there should be enough to keep you busy for a while. If you need the coordinates, ask for a list at the Nature Center. You will find a wide variety of caches ranging from small film canisters up to large ammo cans full of nick-nacks. I hope that you enjoy your trip to Brazos Bend Sate Park - CachinSpree
Do not stick your hands into a hole without first looking to see if anything is home. Use a stick instead. Things like spiders, ticks, thorns, poison plants, ants, skeeters, army dillers, and possible wild animals such as ferrell hogs, snakes, deer, or even gators exist in this park. DO NOT approach them or their young. After you finish cachin', be sure and spend some quality family time in the park, hiking, biking, picnicing, fishing, or camping.
The proper permitting has been issued and approved for this cache. Also, it is illegal to enter a state park without first obtaining a park pass. Admission is $5.00 for adults, seniors, and children under 12 are free.
Congrats go out to Muddy Buddies, Kirbydox, and Fendmar for the FTF!!!!!!!!!
