Tired of the clouds, the cold and gray,
We’re ready for winter to go away.
Ready for T-shirts, sandals and sun.
Now go away winter,
you’ve had your fun!
We’ve baked cookies and pies
And gained a few pounds
While your wintery blast
Has made it’s rounds.
You’ve killed skeeters and bugs,
You’ve brought families together.
You’ve flood-cleaned the valley
With your horrible weather.
But we’re ready for T-shirts,
sandals and sun.
Now go away winter!
