So nature girl 1 sends me a message saying that she is looking for a cache to find for her 300th milestone. After some back and forth, Bear Swamp Hill "Landing Gear" was the final choice. After talking to my crazy caching partner, Uncle Fuzzy and telling him the plan, he readily agreed to go. Also unbeknownst to Nature Girl,(or anyone else) he was going to make it a milestone of his own. We rushed around to get him to 699 caches before the big day.
Some phone calls were made and eventually we had a nice little gathering of geocachers ready to go. Besides me and the two milestoners, we had BillyB514, Mr. BUBBLEROCK, and devilstoy and his geo-dog Nika. The agreed meeting time was 11am and of course Fuzzy and I had to get there a little early to explore and goof around. And I just had to place a cache to commemorate the milestones!
So here it is, boys and girls... A cache to honor two very cool cachers!
Congratulations to both of you....
Looks like another trip to Penn State Forest is in order!
*NOTE* - in the cache is another cache container that contains a logsheet and is cammoed with Muck-O-Flage. The intent is that the FTF takes it and hides it near the place they achieve their next milestone. "Milestones 2"?
Also in the cache is a Travel Slug that I am releasing into the wild.
