Abbotsford's first tree climbing geocache I believe.
I have wanted to hide a tree climbing cache for a long time, but never got around to it.
After having so much fun on some of the new tree climbing caches in Chilliwack, I decided Abbotsford needed its own.
Please be warned, this is not an easy climb, and most people will not be able to do it.
At the coordinates, there are a few trees. The tree you are looking for is a large cedar tree on the edge of the bank. The branches at the bottom are a bit high, so getting started will be tough for the vertically challenged.
Look up about 40 feet and you may be able to see a small white micro cache.
Climbing trees can be dangerous, so please use caution. If you have climbing gear, use it. I would also recommend bringing a fellow cacher with you, in case of an accident.
As not everyone is going to be able to climb this tree, you may have one cacher climb up and sign for the group.
