The coordinates given at the top of this page are for the cache
The wood is on a rising and falling landscape, with topographic features such as hollows and gullies. Its northern boundary is banked, and looks out across the River Tud. There is a mature canopy layer with a well-developed scrub layer, with old coppice stools present in some areas. Hazel coppicing is ongoing, and bracken in the scrub layer is removed regularly to encourage species diversity in the wood. A dense carpet of bluebells appears in May under the mature beech trees within the wood.

The cache can be found after a short walk there are very steep hills the container is a small lock and snap container with the usaual trade items it can hold small travel bugs.we hope you enjoy your visit
