Geocache Description:

Motherlode Offspring

This cache is dedicated to one of the most quality caches in the Collegedale area by Big Friend & Little Friend. It is called Rock On #10 - The Motherlode. I cannot say anything about it here or I will most definitely ruin a very satisfying cache hunt for others....but I will say that people in the area looking for some fun caches to do on a perfect caching day should stop and do the Motherlode. While you are at it, get the other caches on the Biology Trail as well and complete the "Ultimate Biology Trail Challenge." I won't mention that though because this cache listing is supposed to promote the Motherlode.

This cache came directly from the Motherlode. No, I didn't steal it...the Motherlode gave it to me with the requirement that I hide it somewhere else. Today I am fulfilling that requirement. If you have found "Rock On" caches by Big & Little Friend or if you have found the Motherlode, then you will have no trouble at all with this cache. If you are an out-of-towner and you have never found any caches in this area, then you will have a little more of a difficult time, but it will not take THAT long to find it.

Please be stealthy on your hunt, and I would even recommend a night-time or weekend hunt for this cache to avoid the most mugglers. However, I placed it in such a location that even on peak times you shouldn't have to much trouble.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please do not arrive at the location and start going into turbo-cache hunt mode. Instead, get out of the car, run your GPS down to ground zero, and start looking with your EYES and not with your HANDS! It should stand out like a sore thumb to the cachers eye.

Replace right where you found it and then leave with the pride and satisfaction of a job well done.
