This cache is dedicated to the Netherlands. The Netherlands is a small country in Europe.
It has the size of the Canterbury region and has 16 million people.
Some Dutch facts:
In 1602 the Dutch East India Company was established, and by the end of the 17th century Holland was one of the great sea and colonial powers of Europe.
The Netherlands is a constitutional monarchy with Queen Beatrix on the throne since 1980.
Dutch is spoken by 25 milion people world wide (and is the basis for Afrikaans)
Famous for cheese, windmills, tulips, wooden shoes (not we’re not all wearing them!)
A quarter of the Nertherlands is below sea level.
The Netherlands has still about 1,000 traditional working windmills.

The cache is a 1.2 ltr container with a log and a pen (orange) and placed in a park in line with the theme.
