If you are wanting to complete "The Ultimate Puzzle Cache",
keep your solved co-ordinates for this cache.

 

 

This cache requires you to look up various historic events and record the year that they occurred.

 

 

Research the following historic events and write down the year that they occurred.  After you have completed that, substitute the year that coincides with the correct letter in the equation below.

 

a)  Suicide of Adolf Hitler
b)  End of World War I
c)  First Moon Landing
d)  The Fall of the Berlin Wall
e)  The Assassination of President Kennedy
f)  The death of Princess Diana
g)  The Japanese bombed Pearl Harbour
h)  The assassination of Martin Luther King Jr.
i)  Little Boy was dropped on Hiroshima
j)  The Normandy Landings (WWII)
k)  President George W. Bush Jr. Assumed Office
l)  The Terrorist attacks against the Twin Towers and the Pentagon

Take the above answers and substitute them into the following equation based on the letter of the question. [an asterisk (*) means multiply (x)]
Round the value of the RED section of the equation to the nearest whole number.

 

¿ = (1/3)*{ [(a+b+c+d+e+f+g+h+i+j+k+l+m+n+o) ÷ (c)]+ (½*n)}

 

Divide ¿ by one thousand (1000) and add it to both the provided north and west decimal minutes to find out the final co-ordinates.
