Geocache Description:

This cache is located in the Grand Forks Riverside Park; one of many parks connected by the Greater Grand Forks Greenway*. It will require a short hike over easy terrain. There is parking available.

If Sssshh!! is driving you nuts, perhaps you could use this cache as a warm-up exercise!

Riverside Park has been around since the early days of Grand Forks. It has changed much over the years & continues to evolve. There are is a skating rink & a hockey rink for the winter. The kids will find great playground equipment. Hopefully the historic outdoor pool will come back online in a year or two, they are working on it now.

The wonderful Greater Grand Forks Greenway* MUP (Multi-Use Path), meanders through a landscape of mature trees & picnic areas. Bring a picnic, the kids, your dogs, a Frisbee, bikes, roller blades, strollers, ice skates in the winter & enjoy the park.

The cache has a log & some short pencils. There room for GeoCoins but not most TB's or swag! I would prefer to keep the limited space available so this cache may be used as a GC hotel.

The cover is very tight. (Plastic decon container) Please be sure to make sure it is fully closed when done. Push up on the front with both thumbs to open the container. When closing the container, be sure the strap does not get caught between the lid & the body. (In cold weather you may need to warm up the container up a bit before it will open.)
