A group of electronic satellites working in concert is known as a satellite constellation. Such a constellation can be considered to be a number of satellites with coordinated ground coverage, operating together under shared control, synchronised so that they overlap well in coverage and complement rather than interfere with other satellites' coverage. Examples of satellite constellations include the Global Positioning System (GPS), Galileo and GLONASS constellations for navigation and geodesy.
Most, if not all, of the Global Positioning System (GPS) satellites were sent into orbit from Cape Canaveral. The above map refers to sites where satellites and other objects are also being sent into orbit. To solve the puzzle, identify the sites in accordance with the following and perform calculations familiar to most geocachers: N19.5[12+7](14) W4(11).38(20)
