You are looking for an ammo can placed next to the trail..

Stop and take a look at the fabulous water fall. Take a deep breath and bask in its glory. OK now that you are done with that, turn around and look under the Doug Fir for the cache. You DO NOT have to leave the trail to find the cache. Please rehide well. Enjoy the rest of your hike to the Lower Falls, you are half way there.
