her commitment to helping others, improving her community and the
world and becoming the best she can
be
This mural was originally
dedicated to the City of Hamilton on September 16, 1995. The art
students from Harris County Carver Middle and Harris County High
School designed and completed this artwork. This mural was placed
on the Jordan Building, also known as the Senior Center in
Hamilton. Less than a year later, the mural was removed and plans
to tear down the Jordan Building were drawn up. Later, the First
Peoples Bank of Hamilton was built on the
lot.
Fast forward 13
years.
Scouts from Girl Scout Troop
50162 chose to restore this mural as the service project to earn
their Bronze Award. Many weekends were spent repainting and
re-firing new tiles to replace the ones that had gotten broken over
time.
If your name happens to be on
the mural, please mention it in your
log.
You are looking for a regular
sized ammo can. In the summertime, it may be more difficult to find
because of Georgia's state weed.
