Merry Christmas and Happy New Caches everyone!!
This cache was created by the attendees of the Red Deer Geocachers Christmas Party held on December 13, 2008. Each participant brought a small wrapped gift to be placed in a 50 cal ammo can to share with their fellow geocachers.Once the gifts run out, cache will be replaced with regular swag. There will also be an FTF prize.
Cache is hidden down yet another old railway line, a popular cache hiding place as of late for Red Deer cachers. There is parking right at the trail head, but if it is full of snow, you can park in the church parking lot across the road. For the quadders and REAL jeep enthusiasts, you can drive right up to this one, provided you make it over the giant hump at the front first. For the rest of us, its a nice quick walk down a beautiful trail, with a short bush push at the end.
